Area wins the Red Dot Design Award 2021

Originating back to 1955, the Red Dot Design Award has developed over the years and globally as one of the most significant design prizes.

The sought-after quality seal Red Dot 2021 was conferred to our Area collection, confirming the excellence and manufacturing of its design. The jury made up of 49 international designer experts awarded Area for its distinctive design. The main criteria evaluated for each project were functionality, symbolic content, and innovation.

Our first collection of sofas convinced the jury of top-notch international experts with its lightness, strength, and comfort, allowing it to win the quality mark that testifies its high design content. In addition, our winning products will be exhibited in the Red Dot Design Museum in Essen, Germany, throughout the year.

Area faithfully embodies the concept of transversality underlying all our production and represents a total solution to the needs of private and public spaces. Designed by Studio Pastina, it combines exceptionally soft padding with an essential and clean outline.
