Largo9 was born in Florence from two souls that give rise to an innovative format: gourmet pizza and refined cocktails. Gabriele Dani was awarded from the Italian food and wine magazine Gambero Rosso as one of the best pizza chefs in 2021, thanks to his talent and high-quality creations. But the perfect mix was made with Veronica Costantino, who has always been into cocktail making and won the Florence Cocktail Week in 2020 as Best Female Bartender.
The restaurant design was entrusted to Fabio Madai, drawing inspiration from the Wabi-Sabi style with a Japanese flavored aesthetic, that creates a simple and livable environment. With natural materials such as wood and rough walls, it gives the feeling of being a lived-in place, but at the same time elegant and welcoming.
To complete this project stools and chairs from the Sonny collection were picked, and blend perfectly with the style of the room, chosen with a two-color upholstery: a lighter one that recalls that of the walls and wood, and one in blue tones that gives a touch of color to the environment.
