Archirivolto

Archirivolto was founded by Claudio Dondoli and Marco Pocci in 1983 as a studio for industrial design, architecture, and design.

While studying Architecture in Florence, Claudio and Marco, along with some friends, formed a theatrical experimentation group.

When they decided to pursue design together, their interest in theater strongly influenced the approach of the new studio: creativity, a sense of reality, and respect for the public.

Eager to understand the production world and the market from within, they began by managing a design furniture store.

In addition to studying home environments, Archirivolto has also ventured into the realms of electronics and architecture: alongside tables, chairs, stools, upholstered furniture, and lighting, the studio has designed numerous everyday products as well as villas and public spaces.

For Archirivolto, design means beauty, harmony, and freedom; it cannot be bound by rigid predefined rules, nor should it exist as a privilege for a social or cultural elite.

The role of the designer is to create beauty accessible to everyone, bringing design closer to more and more people.

Archirivolto collaborated with MIDJ to create the Liù collection.
