Paolo Vernier

Born in 1946, he has been designing chairs since he was a child, with an approach that immediately gave him a comprehensive vision: from the idea to the design and production. For him, even a slight discrepancy or technical flaw represents a challenge to improve and find the most ingenious solutions.

Over the years, he has worked to acquire technical skills and expertise, which he combines with an innate passion for design. In 1988, he founded MIDJ, which is now known worldwide. Even today, Paolo continues to travel, learn, meet new people, and bring both managerial and creative experience to the company.

Although chairs have always been a fundamental part of his life, he has never stopped being passionate about contemporary taste and style. In fact, in addition to seating like Nenè, he designs timeless collections such as the elegant Lea. In his creations, he favors simple and pure lines, adaptable to any type of contract and domestic environment, which is why his models are still among the best-selling today.
