Maison & Objet 2020: the protagonist is color
France is the fifth largest European manufacturer of furniture, after Italy, Germany, Poland and the United Kingdom. The data emerges from a research published in October 2019 by the Institut national de la statistique et des études économique in Paris.
In light of this data, it is easy to understand how the Maison & Objet fair has become one of the reference events for intercepting trends in the furniture sector.
That just ended was the 25th edition of the Parisian fair that looks to the future, proposing the theme "(Re) Generation": the future is generations Y and Z, the category of young consumers, with a virtuous, sustainable and aware approach to life.
It seems certain that color will remain the protagonist in 2020, as well as textured fabrics, sparkling patterns in fabrics as well as in wallpapers, ceramics and accessories.
