Alida Cappellini and Giovanni Licheri are set designers with wide-ranging experience in advertising, the theatre - workingwith leading Italian companies - cinema, variety shows, journalism and fiction.
For several years, they have been designing aline of furnishings and accessories for the "MIAMI SWING" brand.
They teach set design at Istituto Europeo del Design (European Institute of Design), and both of them lecture on th epost-graduate master course in television set design for young architects.
They have collaborated on and created programmes for RAI television about images entertainment. Together with RAI Educational, they have devised a series of programmes, also available on videocassettes, and a website, which, until now, is the only educational tool for television set design.
They have collaborated on a variety of programmes that have made the history of Italian television, including "Indietrotutta" and "Doc" starring Renzo Arbore, "Quelli che il calcio" and the first edition of "La macchina del tempo".
They have contributed to many programmes shown on Raiuno and Raidue channels (the majors channel of Italian tv) as: “La vita in diretta”, “Quelli che il calcio", “La domenica sportiva”, “L'Eredità”, etc.
